ColorMind is a single‑device utility that helps users explore mood and personality through intuitive color selection. By default, the app processes test logic on the device. Network access is used only for advertising, Google services, and remote configuration where applicable. If any future cloud feature is introduced, the app will clearly notify you and ask for consent before enabling it.
1. Device Identifiers
- Advertising identifiers (e.g., GAID on Android) for ad delivery, frequency capping, fraud prevention, and reporting via our ad partners.
- In‑app anonymous identifiers (if generated by SDKs) used for analytics aggregation and diagnostics without direct identification.
2. Runtime Permissions
ColorMind requests only permissions required for core functions:
- Photos/Media/Files (MediaStore): save the result image you explicitly request to export.
- Network access: load and show ads; communicate with Google services (Analytics/Crash reporting/Remote Config).
- Notifications: not used by default. If added, it will be optional and clearly explained before use.
- Camera / Clipboard / Location / Nearby devices: not used by this app.
3. Data Categories and Purposes
- Device & usage data: coarse device info, app version, and anonymous event data for stability and performance.
- Diagnostics: crash logs and performance metrics to maintain reliability.
- Advertising interaction data: ad requests, impressions, clicks, frequency capping, and fraud prevention.
Purposes: ad delivery & measurement, anonymous analytics, app functionality (saving an image to local storage).
4. Processing Location & Association
- Local processing: color test logic and result generation occur on your device.
- Upload: crash/performance and analytics events may be sent to Google services; ad requests are sent to ad partners. No test answers or images are uploaded by the app.
- Association: we do not combine data with directly identifiable information. Ad partners may use identifiers to provide personalized or non‑personalized ads subject to consent.
- Cross‑app tracking: only through ad/analytics SDKs according to your consent settings and platform controls.
5. Third‑party SDKs
- TopOn (ad mediation) – Policy
- Google Mobile Ads / AdMob – Policy
- Facebook Audience Network – Policy
- Unity Ads – Policy
- Pangle – Policy
- Google Firebase (Analytics/Crashlytics/Performance/Remote Config) – Policy
6. Consent & User Controls
- GDPR / UMP: for users in the EEA/UK, the app shows a User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent dialog, allowing you to choose personalized or non‑personalized ads and to manage or withdraw consent later.
- Android settings: you can reset the advertising ID, limit ad personalization, or clear app data to reset local identifiers.
- iOS ATT: if an iOS version is published, the app will request App Tracking Transparency consent where required.
7. Sharing, Retention & Security
- Sharing: data is shared with the SDK providers above solely for delivery of ads, analytics, diagnostics, and related compliance needs.
- Retention: kept only as long as necessary for the stated purposes and according to partner policies.
- Security: data transmitted over HTTPS; the app follows sandboxing, least‑privilege permissions, and secure storage practices.
8. Regional Rights
We honor applicable privacy laws such as GDPR and CCPA/CPRA. Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, deletion, correction, portability, objection, and restriction. You can exercise these through in‑app consent dialogs, platform settings, or by contacting us.
